    Sarat Varanasi is a P&C Insurance Market leader of Cognizant’s Insurance practice. In this role, he is responsible for P&L including sales, business development, consulting, and client relationship management. Under his leadership, Cognizant’s P&C Insurance business serves approximately 70+ clients in North America. Cognizant P&C practice is the largest Insurance practice at $1.2Bn and growing significantly. The practice serves 18 of the top 20 P&C clients with marquee clients like The Hartford, Travelers, Liberty, Nationwide, Farmers, AIG, Zurich, Chubb to name a few. 
     

    Varanasi has over 27 years of experience in advising business and technology executives in the insurance, banking, and financial services segments. He has helped clients achieve significant improvements in operational effectiveness and end-to-end managed services delivery with outcome-based performance measures. He has expertise in financial services sales and distribution, agent/broker effectiveness, customer segmentation, product development, financial management, billing and collections, claims, underwriting, and pricing. 

    Having spent 15+ years at Cognizant, Varanasi has played various roles like COO for the practice, Client Partner and transformation partner. Sarat currently runs the CIO forum for Insurance. Prior to Cognizant, he held several roles like Chief Delivery Officer for a niche consulting firm and prior to that he was a Principal consultant at Oracle.
     

    Mojgan Lefebvre is Executive Vice President and Chief Technology & Operations Officer for Travelers. She is responsible for the company’s global technology and operations functions, including cloud technologies, cybersecurity, digital capabilities, data and analytics, customer service and billing.

    Before joining Travelers in 2018, Lefebvre served as global Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Liberty Mutual’s commercial business and held leadership positions of increasing responsibility across a variety of other industries, including medical device company bioMérieux and strategy consulting firm Bain & Company.

    Lefebvre founded Travelers’ internal professional group EmpowHER+ and is the executive sponsor of the company’s partnerships with nonprofits Girls Who Code and AnitaB.org.

    She is a CIO Class of 2022 Hall of Fame inductee, one of Forbes’ CIO Next 50 Innovative Technology Leaders and a member of the National Diversity Council’s Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology. She was a 2017 Digital Insurance Women in Insurance Leadership Award recipient and a finalist for the 2020 MIT Sloan CIO Leadership Award.

    Lefebvre earned her bachelor’s degree in computer science from Georgia Institute of Technology and her MBA from Harvard Business School. She has lived and worked in many countries and speaks French and Farsi fluently. She lives in Boston with her husband and two college-aged daughters.
     

    Srini Krishnamurthy leads FM Global’s enterprise strategy, information technology and digital transformation functions.  Srini joined FM Global in 2019 from T Rowe Price where he led strategic initiatives across human resources and program management.  

    Prior to T Rowe Price, Krishnamurthy held key leadership roles in technology, operations and program management at Kronos Inc, MassMutual Financial Group, The Hartford and Capital One.   

    Krishnamurthy holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University as well as Bachelor and Masters’ degrees in economics from Delhi University.
