A.M. Best Europe - Rating Services Limited (AMBERS) is registered to provide Credit Rating Services within the United Kingdom under the Credit Rating Agencies (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019. Credit Rating Agencies are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Prior to 31 December 2020, AMBERS was registered with the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) to provide Credit Rating Services within the European Union. Where Policies and Procedures make reference to “Europe” or the “EU”, these requirements now apply to the “United Kingdom” and “UK”. AMBERS has chosen to continue making available the Transparency Reports it produced whilst it was registered with ESMA and these can be accessed via the links below.
